Tank wagon type Zacens 75 m3
This four-axle Zacens series tank wagon with a volume of 75 m3 is designed for the transportation of dangerous liquids with a L10DH vessel code.
The wagon is equipped with two Y25 Ls1-K type double-axle bogies with an axle load of 22.5 t as approved according to UIC.
Chassis – a welded main frame with two end platforms on which 4 saddles are located to fi x the tank, according to UIC recommendations.
Brake – all parts of the pneumatic brake are located on the bottom of the wagon. The wagon has a shoe brake in the Bg confi guration with composite brake blocks of the authorised type with a TSI certifi cate of conformity, which comply with UIC 543/544-1 and the V-BKS (K) construction guideline. The wagon is provided with a KNORR-SfS (KE-GP) pneumatic brake with a G/P mechanic cross-over device – G (goods regime) and P (personal regime) and an empty/loaded mechanical coupler.
Boiler – a double-circuit steam heating system used for heating the transported substance to ensure easier unloading is mounted on the tank. In order to maintain the temperature of the transported substance the tank is insulated throughout its exterior surface with ROTAFLEX SUPER TP 01 rock wool with a thickness of 2 × 60 mm compressed to 100 mm, and covered with 0.8 mm thick zinc-coated metal sheets.
