Tank wagon type Zacens 40 m3

The four-axle tank wagon type Zacens with the volumetric capacity of 40 m3 is designed only for liquid sulphur with the tank code L4DH. The wagon is fi tted with the bogies type Y 25 Lsd1 for the axle load 22, 5 t, approved acc. to UIC.
Wagon underframe - welded central member frame with nose compartments, to them is the presure tank fi xed with bolts.
Brake system – air brake Knorr KE-GP in version 16“ and air-pressure change-over device. The hand brake is operated from the brake plattform and effects to both bogies.
The tank is made from stainless steel. The outside surface is equipped by 200 mm thick warm insulation. A particularity is a special construction of the tank heating from its outside, which assures absolutely reliable discharging of 100% of the load.
The wagon conforms to the regulations UIC and RID.
