The four-axle fl at wagon type Rens(s) was derivated from the type UIC/ERRI with the adaptation of frame and travel for the axle load 25 t and with the brake construction for the regime ss.
The wagon is specifi ed for transport both of long goods, mainly of produscts of machinery, metallurgical and building industry, and road and agricultural vehicles, too.
The wagon corresponds to requirements of transfer to the ferries of required parametrs (grade 2°30´and curve R = 120m fer empty wagon). It is able to roll the track without limitation in curve with minimal radius R = 150m. The ambient temperature in the range fram –20°C to +50°C. It can roll on siding in every load condition by walking speed and with loose coupling on curve of radius min. 35 m and it is convenient as unloaded for rolling from hump with form in accordance with UIC 522 leaflet.
The timber fl oor is make from larch panels. The body is compounded from 2 hinged end walls, to enable the crossing of machines from end-loading platform, 18 hinged side walls, 4 end-wall disengaging posts, 16 side disenganging posts, 16 hinged stanchions, 18 binding rings on the floor.
