Articulated fl at wagon design series Sggrss with three two-axle bogies type Y 25 Lsd1 is designed for the transport of containers 20´and 40´. The wagons will be used in combined traffi c trains and in international traffi c acc. to RIV both as individual wagons and in block-trains. The wagon consist of two separated carrier parts A, B of similar construction, connected with the articulation of UIC/ERRI type. There is the total of 8 hinged locating pins on the frame for containers. Only those locating pins stay in the work position at the loading according to the freight type, which correspond to the dimension of the corner castings on the container. The vehicles correspond to the accepted technical rules, rules of materials theory, design and economy. The wagons are low-maintenance, care and control friendly. All parts that are to maintain, are easily accessible, and the safety relevant parts (e.g. running gear, brake, draw and buffer gear etc.) are easily visible. Articulated wagons are designed in compliance with principle of UIC 572 leafl et and suit the TSI, UIC, RIV, TE regulations. The wagons are subject to codifi cation process acc. to UIC 596-6 leafl et and fall in classification C. The wagons fulfi l the following qualities in view of availability/capability:
