The articulated fl at wagon Sggmrss 90´ type 9-578.0 with three two-axle bogies is designed for the transport of containers 20´, 30´, 40´, 45, and swap bodies 6,05-8,15 m, 9,125-9,3 m, 12,192 m, 13,6 m.
The innovation consist in fulfi llling of all actual requirement of standarts on the static and dynamic stength. Pursuant to the request of ČD rail the wagon is equiped with the pneumatic brake DAKO.
The wagon consist of two separated carrier parts A,B of similar construction, connected with the articulation of Talbote type. There is on the frame total 36 hinged locating pins for containers. Every wagon part is equiped on the upper frame part with 18 hinged locating pins to fi x and secure the transported containers or swap bodies. There stay in the work position at the loading according to the freight type only those locating pins which correspond with the dimension of the corner castings on the container (swap body). The other ones stay in the transport position.
